Tequila and lime go well with just about anything and mixing them with cloudy apple juice and mint is no exception. Phenomenal. The addition of Poire Liqueur is a nice touch as well. Perfect for a warm sunny day, lazing in a hammock and watching the clouds float by. Obviously the apple juice can be adjusted to use any of the apple juice recipes on this website.
- 250ml tequila
- 100ml poire William liqueur
- 50ml fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
- 500ml cloudy apple juice
- handful mint leaves
- Pour the tequila (gerry likes Jose cuervo tradicional) and poire William liqueur (gerry recommends gabriel boudier) into a jug, then add the fresh lime juice and cloudy apple juice. Stir and chill.
- Just before serving, add a handful of fresh mint leaves, torn up, and a few handfuls of ice cubes and stir well.
