Kiwifruit Apple Juice Recipe

Kiwifruit is a very under utilised and charismatic fruit, it has a distinct flavour, is incredibly good for you and deliver it’s bold and brash green colour to any beverage it manages to squeeze into. This juice has an amazing texture and is a great treat for kids as well as adult guests. Garnish with a small kiwifruit wedge or sprig of mint.

Health Benefits:

Kiwi fruits are rich in many Vitamins, flavonoids and minerals. In particular, they contain a high amount of Vitamin C (more than oranges), as much potassium as bananas and a good amount of beta-carotene.

Ingredients:

4 large kiwi fruit
1 apple
Fresh mint sprigs

Directions:

Peel the kiwis, quarter and juice.Quarter the apple and juice. Juice the whole sprigs of mint. Mix the juices together. Chill. Serve in short glasses with optional ice.
